What is Double Checkers?

This is a straightforward double-checkers game, designed for two players to engage in a fun and competitive match. The objective is simple: eat all your opponent's pieces to declare victory. Plus, the game comes with the full source code, allowing you to easily create an individual mode, where you can challenge the computer!

How to Play Double Checkers

1. Setup: The game begins with each player having 12 checkers on their side of the board. The board is divided into 8 rows and 8 columns, with alternating colors.
2. Turns: Players take turns moving their checkers. Players can move their checkers forward diagonally.
3. Capturing: When a checker lands on a square occupied by an opponent's checker, it captures the opponent's checker, removing it from the board.
4. Jumping: Players can "jump" over an opponent's checker when making a move. To jump, the checker must land on the square immediately behind the opponent's checker.
5. End Game: The game ends when one player has captured all of the opponent's checkers, or when neither player can make a legal move.
6. Computer Mode: To play against the computer, simply run the game with the provided source code and let the AI take on the challenge!
