What is Turkish Draughts?

Turkish Draughts is a fun and unique board game where players move and capture checkers horizontally and vertically, unlike most other draughts games that use diagonal moves. The game is played on a 64-cell board, and each player starts with 16 checkers placed on all the cells of the second and third rows. The goal is to outsmart your opponent by capturing their checkers or blocking their moves. You can play against the computer, challenge a friend on the same device, or compete with others online. You can even watch other players' games and suggest moves if you're in the mood to help!

How to Play

1. Set Up: Place your 16 checkers on all the cells of the second and third rows of the board. Your opponent does the same on their side.
2. Move: On your turn, click or tap to move one of your checkers horizontally or vertically to an empty cell.
3. Capture: If your checker lands next to an opponent's checker and there's an empty cell just beyond it, you can "jump" over their checker to capture it.
4. Win: Keep capturing your opponent's checkers or block their moves until they can't make any more moves. The player who captures all the opponent's checkers or leaves them with no moves wins!

You can play solo against the computer, challenge a friend, or join online matches. Have fun strategizing and becoming a Turkish Draughts champion!
