What is The Snake?

The Snake is a classic and timeless game that has been delighting players for generations. Also known as "Il Gioco del Serpente" in Italian, this game involves guiding a snake through a maze using arrow keys on your PC or by tapping on your smartphone screen. The objective is to navigate the snake around the map, collecting food while avoiding obstacles and the snake's own tail!

How to Play The Snake

On PC:

1. Start the Game: Open The Snake on your computer.
2. Use Arrow Keys: Control the snake by pressing the arrow keys on your keyboard. Use the up arrow to move the snake upwards, down arrow for downward movement, left arrow to go left, and right arrow to move right.
3. Collect Food: As the snake moves, you'll see food items. Collect these to make the snake grow longer.
4. Avoid Collisions: Try not to hit the walls or your own tail. Hitting the tail will end the game.

On Smartphone:

1. Launch the Game: Open The Snake on your smartphone.
2. Tap to Control: Tap on the screen to move the snake in the direction you want it to go. The game will respond to the taps, allowing you to steer the snake around the maze.
3. Gather Food: Similar to the PC version, tap the screen to move towards the food items you see on the screen.
4. Avoid Obstacles: Be careful not to tap in a direction that would cause the snake to crash into the walls or its own tail. Remember, touching the tail is game over!
