What is Short Life?

The game Short Life puts you in the shoes of a video game hero whose life is, quite literally, short. It's all about taking risks and facing the consequences. Each level is designed to challenge your hero to the limit, and the choices you make can either lead to triumph or a host of creative and humorous deaths. The goal is to help your hero make it to the end of each level alive... and whole. But why not enjoy the thrill of watching your character meet a variety of end-of-life scenarios, like being cut by a saw, crushed, pierced, or exploded? With 16 levels to conquer, will you be able to keep your hero alive through all the challenges?

How to Play Short Life

1. Start a New Game: Begin with a new character and level.
2. Navigate the Level: Use the keyboard or controller to move your hero through the level.
3. Avoid Hazards: Be cautious of obstacles and enemies that can end your hero's life in a variety of ways.
4. Use Power-Ups: Sometimes, you'll find power-ups that can help you survive or even reverse the damage.
5. Retry: If your hero meets an untimely end, don't worry! You can retry the level to try and improve your survival skills.
6. Progress to the Next Level: Complete each level to move on to the next challenge.
7. Beat the Game: Successfully navigate all 16 levels to declare yourself a master of survival!
