What is Moles?

Moles is a fun and fast-paced arcade-style idle tapping game that captures the essence of the classic Whack-A-Mole. The objective is to prevent any moles from escaping, and you have 120 seconds to hit as many as you can!

How to Play

Starting the Game

• When you first see the welcome screen, just click on "Play" to kick off the fun.
• Your web browser will automatically keep track of your high score for you.
• You can see your high score right above the play button, centered at the bottom of the welcome screen.

Game Controls

• Desktop: Use your mouse to left-click on a mole to hit it with a mallet.
• Touchscreen Devices: Simply tap on the moles with your fingers to strike them with a mallet.

Controls and Indicators (Top Row, Left to Right)

• Score: Shows how many points you've accumulated.
• Remaining lives: Indicates how many chances you have left, represented by hearts at the top center of the screen.
• Timer: Counts down the 120 seconds you have to play.

Game Play

• Basic Rules: Within the 120 seconds, try to hit every mole that pops up. They'll appear in one of the six holes on the screen.
• Left-click or tap on a mole when it surfaces to hit it. Be quick, as moles retreat underground if not hit in time.

Lives

• You start with 3 lives. Lose a life each time you miss a mole.
• If all your lives are gone, it's game over.

Scoring

• Each mole you successfully hit earns you 1 point.
• Compare your latest and highest scores on the game over screen.
