In this game, you play the role of a savvy merchant, navigating through a bustling market filled with fantastical creatures like goblins and dwarfs. Your mission is to outbid your opponents for the most exquisite potions available, all while the clock is ticking.

How to Play Medieval Merchant

1. Set Up the Game: Place all the potion cards facedown on the table and shuffle them to create the auction deck. Each player takes a turn being the auctioneer, starting with the youngest player or the player who won the last round.

2. The Auction Begins: The auctioneer flips over the top card from the deck and shows it to everyone. Players take turns placing bids, with each bid being higher than the last. The bidding continues until no player wants to raise their bid.

3. Time's Up: When no more bids are made, the round ends. The highest bidder wins the potion card, and it's placed faceup in front of the winner.

4. Round End and Scorekeeping: After each round, the player with the most valuable collection of potions is the current leader. The game continues with new potions being introduced in each round until a final scoring round is reached.

5. Final Score: At the end of the game, players count their potion cards to determine their score. The player with the most points wins the game!
