What is Chess Clash?

Do you like racking your brains? Put your logic skills to the test with Chess Clash! Chess is one of the oldest and most popular games in the world. The objective is to take the opponent's pieces and put their king in checkmate.

How to play Chess Clash

1. Setup the Board: The game starts with the chessboard already laid out. Each player has 16 pieces: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 rooks, 2 knights, 2 bishops, and 8 pawns.
2. Turns: Players take turns moving their pieces, starting with the player who has the white pieces.
3. Piece Movement: Each piece has specific rules for movement (e.g., the king can move one square in any direction, the knight moves in an "L" shape, and the queen moves like a rook or bishop).
4. Capture: To capture an opponent's piece, move your piece so that it lands on the square occupied by the opponent's piece.
5. Check: If you move your king to a square where it can be captured by the opponent's piece, it's said to be in "check." You must move your king out of check or make a move that blocks the check.
6. Checkmate: The game is won when a player puts their opponent's king in "checkmate," which means the king is in check and cannot escape or block the check with any legal move.
